Faculty of Forestry  was established by the decision of Council of Ministers (No: 94/6138, date: 24.08.1994) as a part of Ankara University. It began its operations in the academic year 1996-1997. It connected to the Çankırı Karatekin University which was established in 2007.

There are Forestry Engineering and Landscape Architecture Departments in our faculty.

Our faculty consists of 600 m² closed and 3600 m² open area. There are parking, sport and recreation  areas in our open areas. Faculty has also computer lab, library, cafeteria and conference room, classrooms in closed area.
