Forest Engineering Program Vision

Developing forecasting and early warning systems to keep diseases, pests, weeds and fire damage to a minimum in forest areas; Considering that the main material in the forest ecosystem is soil, helping the selection of suitable species in plantation forestry by analyzing the soil, Developing research and methods in the sustainable management of forests; To continuously improve the existing laboratory facilities for the diagnosis of diseases, pests, flora and fauna; To prepare an environment for graduate students to learn and practice; To prepare and implement projects to benefit from international research funds; To present the findings obtained by participating in national and international congresses to the scientific world and to enable them to be discussed; To develop studies for the establishment, maintenance and operation of forests; Developing the necessary plans in order to bring the necessary service into the forest and to obtain forest products with the most appropriate method and technique; To contribute to the flora of our country by conducting floristic studies, to introduce new species, subspecies or varieties to the scientific world.
