Introduction to Forest Engineering Field Application (Ilgaz)

Students of Forest Engineering Division of our Faculty had their practical lesson of “Introduction to Forest Engineering” course in Ilgaz Forest Enterprise Directorate under the guidance of Assist. Prof.Dr. Bora İMAL.

In the practice lesson, firstly Çankırı Forest Enterprise Directorate were visited and its works were introduced. In the second stage of the application, a day of the Forest Engineer in the field was summarized by going to the forests of Ilgaz-Yenice-Kadınçayırı region and giving examples from forestry practices.

Ilgaz Forestry Operations Manager Utku DANIŞ, Forestry Operations Chiefs Emin ARICI, Zeynep GÜREL and consulting engineers accompanied the practice lesson. We would like to thank our colleagues who did not leave us alone in the practice lesson despite their busy work schedule and agenda.
